Originally from the dynamic landscape of New York City, he made the shift to Northern Illinois in 2001, setting the stage for a journey shaped by carpentry, family, and a passion for real estate.

    For close to two decades, John has wielded his tools with precision, leaving his mark as a carpenter, foreman, and remodeler. Houses transformed into homes under his skilled hands, each project reflecting a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

    Family is the cornerstone of John’s life. Married to Venise since 1997, their shared adventures have unfolded alongside the growth of their three adult children, Kyle, Andrew & Emily. The Broda household is a lively one, enriched by the presence of Escrow, the playful mini-goldendoodle, Archer, the adventurous Alaskan Klee Kai, and Harley, the laid-back cat.

    Beyond the daily grind, John and Venise share a love for exploring wineries and traveling to new places. These shared experiences add vibrancy to their lives, creating a backdrop against which memories are etched.

    In 2017, John pivoted his career towards real estate. Leveraging his extensive background in remodeling, he has since assisted countless clients in selling their properties or finding their dream homes.
